Hi, I’m Gayathri. I’ve been making up stories since before I could spell them — first to my grandmother on long afternoons, then in the margins of my school notebooks, and now here, where they can stay a little longer than a single telling.
I write mostly short fiction. I like quiet, character-driven pieces about ordinary people in not-so-ordinary moments — the small turns where something inside someone shifts, even if the room around them looks the same. I also write the occasional poem, mostly when it rains.
When I’m not writing, you’ll find me re-reading my favorite books, scribbling in a notebook that travels everywhere with me, or arguing with my friends about endings. Especially endings.
This site is where I share what I write. Some pieces are small experiments, some are stories I’ve been turning over for months. Either way — thank you for reading. It means more than you know.
